Plasti-Tech Piping Systems (Pty) Ltd and its affiliates (collectively “Plasti-Tech”, “us”, and “we”) is committed to respecting the privacy of your personal data and to providing you with the best possible solution whilst still maintaining the integrity of any information you may share with us.

To demonstrate our commitment, Plasti-Tech has created this privacy statement in order to communicate its intent to provide effective processes for the appropriate handling of such private information and to comply with applicable legislation that governs the authentication, protection and disclosure of personal information. By procuring any related products, services and/or solutions (“services and/or products”) from Plasti-Tech, you consent to the use of your personal identifiable information within the scope of the data practices described in this statement.

The personal information that we collect.

We collect (among others) the following information:

  • Billing information, such as relevant payment information and VAT registration number

How we collect personal information.

  • Directly from you when you use our website or any other service
  • If you request information from us to provide a quote or provide further details on our products or services

  • From individuals, companies or organizations who have referred you to us where such information is publicly available or for legitimate business purposes
  • Through the use of our online cookies, which is used to primarily identify visitors that return to our website or who we believe may benefit from viewing marketing materials. You can prevent us from doing this through settings on your browser. Cookies only store information from your browser and cannot access data from (or on) your computer or device.

If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we may still contact you in other instances, such as in the course of providing you with services or to handle account queries. In most instances, the relevant staff member will contact you directly and not through a mailing list.

Where is personal information stored?

Your personal information is stored on our local servers located at 27 Buwbes Road, Sebenza, Edenvale. Your information may also at times be transferred and stored securely on international services such as Google Workspace (https://workspace.google.com/intl/en_za/) or Microsoft Office (https://www.office.com) for which Plasti-Tech Piping Systems pays a monthly subscription for services.

Security.

Plasti-Tech Piping Systems has implemented technology, policies and processes aimed at protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal information. We update and refine these measures on an on-going basis. Plasti-Tech Piping Systems will always take reasonable steps to protect and ensure that your personal information is protected and safe. These measures include:

  • Data encryption
  • Physical and electronic access control to our physical buildings
  • Password control
  • Disaster recovery measures

We may include links to other third party websites that do not fall under our supervision. We cannot accept responsibility for your privacy or the content on these websites.
